Adjustable Wooden Lap Frame with Cushioned base
Exclusive to the Coleshill Collection, a completely adjustable wooden lap frame with a soft cushioned base.
We are very pleased to introduce this extremely practical and comfortable lap stand.
It will support most types of slate or bar frame, leaving both hands free to work the fabric.
If intending to use a lightweight frame, such as the ‘Siesta’ bar frames, we suggest using the additional clamps to prevent movement of the frame.
It will easily hold more heavier and robust types of tapestry slate frames.
As the frame simply rests on the arms, there are not many restrictions with size.
Lace pillows sit nicely on the frame. (Round Kleinhout pillows work well)
The arms are adjustable both to a preferred height by selecting the holes located on the arms, and angle by simply tilting the arm and tightening the fixing.
The fixings have been kept simple to enable the stitcher to make any adjustments speedily and with ease.
The frame will accommodate projects of varying sizes by adjusting the two central triangle supports which bolt into the holes along the base to the required width.
The ‘Coleshill Lap Frame’ is unique in design, incorporating a pad which sits beneath the wooden base on the lap to provide maximum comfort and stability while stitching. This also means that the frame is completely portable – just take your sewing to your favorite armchair and start stitching without the worry of the chair being the right height to fit the frame – rather, the frame will fit the chair!
Elasticated cushion cover is removable for washing (hand wash/dry flat)
