A Bright Childrens Starter Tapestry Kit Suitable For Children Aged 5+ Or Lovely For The Young At Heart To Stitch!

For young stitchers, this kit is designed for starters, with step by step simple and thorough instructions.
The design is worked by counting from a bold chart onto plain childrens 7 count tapestry canvas (7 stitches to 2.5cm/1 inch)
*This method encourages and helps childrens counting skills.
* The design is worked completely in Tent stitch (usual tapestry stitch)

A plastic tapestry needle and a normal childrens tapestry needle are included, so once confident with threading the and stitching with the plastic tapestry needle, they can try using a normal tapestry needle.

*Stitching the border is optional, if intending to complete the finished work as either a cushion or bag, the border is a nice way of framing the design, however if you intend to complete as a framed picture, we suggest leaving the border off, as when the picture is framed up with mount board, too many bordering straight lines can detract the eye from the central design, and if the stitched border does not line up exactly with the mount, it will look odd.

Design Size Approx 10″ x 10″

**This kit everything required to complete the design (materials for making up into a cushion or bag are not included, please enquire for details of our making up service)

Kit Includes;
* Square Of Plain 7 Count Tapestry Canvas *Appletons Tapestry Wools
* Plastic Tapestry Needle
* Tapestry Needle
* Stitch Diagrams
* Simple Instructions And Bold Chart

All of our childrens tapestry kits (excluding the Play Around Pack) come complete with our beautiful trade mark Coleshill yellow gift bags with royal blue rope handles, making these lovely gifts for children or the young at heart!
